I started tattooing in 2001 after
years of respecting the profession. I began my first apprenticeship
at American Graffiti Tattoos under owner Chris Page. I received a
lot of work from him and he saw my passion for learning the trade.
I was not there for very long due to bad timing but I was able to
learn the basics and continue on.
I met artist Ron Meyers over the internet
at tattooforums.com run by Sean Ozz. Ron Invited me to Deep Image to check the shop out
and gave me the opportunity to complete my apprenticeship. His work
was amazing and he was very generous inshowing me all that he was
capable of. He eventually left the shop and moved on but not without
leaving me as a full-time tattooist.
I now work at Lucky
Monkey Tattoo Parlour in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am grateful to
the artists, friends, and family that supported my pursuits along
the way.
